This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada for 6.00 hours. This program has been reviewed and approved by the Canadian Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Continuing Professional Development Committee.


Purpose: To bring together superb experts to give high impact interactive lectures and to disseminate cutting-edge information on topics pertinent to the field of PM&R. This yearly University of Toronto PM&R Division conference will address different topics each year.

At the end of this conference, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the latest advances in brain injury, functional neurologic disorders, and neuroradiology of TBI.
  • Describe the latest approaches to treatment of spinal cord injury in the areas of bone health, baclofen pumps, and botulinum toxin for bowel and bladder management.
  • Review approaches to ALS.
  • Describe updates in the approach to wound care and prosthetics.

About the Virtual Conference

The Toronto Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Conference (TPMRC) is a one-day conference to bring together superb experts to give high impact interactive lectures and to disseminate cutting-edge information on topics pertinent to the field of PM&R.
